Slovenian Progress report on Stress Tests

Slovenia submitted the national progress report on stress tests today, inline with ENSREG decisions.

The Krško Nuclear Power Plant had fulfilled its obligation on time and sent the progress report to the Slovenian Nuclear Safety Administration (SNSA).

The SNSA review process is on going and it is expected that no major changes or additional work would be needed. Based on the outcome of this assessment the Krško NPP has to prepare the final report by 31 October 2011.

Since the Krško NPP is the only NPP in Slovenia, it was decided that the contents of the Krško NPP report, which strictly follows the technical scope of stress tests specifications would be used as a basis for the national report.
